Balvenie 21 Year Old PortWood is an exceptional Single Malt Whisky, expertly refined over many years to reach the pinnacle of full rounded characterful taste perfection.
Malt Master David Stewart, who has worked at the Distillery for over half a century is responsible for crafting the whisky in a single distillation and ageing it for 21 years in port casks to enhance and enrich the full boded single malt, whilst preserving its original characteristics. To ensure that just the right amount of character is imparted by the port casks, he samples the whisky regularly.
